The Breckenridge Premium 42" is the widest single-sided model of Empire's deep-stage vent-free firebox line. Its 20 7/16" overall depth and taller opening are sized for the larger vent-free log sets on today's market, while the box installs without a chimney or flue and pairs with any certified vent-free burner and log set.

Because it draws room air for combustion and vents nothing outdoors, the Breckenridge Premium delivers its heat directly to the room and can be framed into interior walls and spaces where running a flue isn't practical. The junction box and standard matte black hood are included, so the box arrives ready to frame in.
The deeper, taller opening gives a fuller, more realistic flame display with today's larger log sets. To finish the installation, surround the firebox with a traditional-style cabinet mantel from Empire (White Mountain Hearth), and complete the face with the liner, louver, and trim options offered for the line.

This is the firebox only. To complete the fireplace you'll add a certified vent-free burner and log set, sized for a 42" firebox. An extended hood is also required when your surround material is thicker than 1 inch.
