The Breckenridge Deluxe 36" is the mid-size model in Empire's compact vent-free firebox family — a steel firebox that installs without a chimney or flue and pairs with any certified vent-free burner and log set. At 19 inches deep it stays framing-friendly while offering a wider fire presentation than the 32" model, and it still accommodates an optional blower.

Because it draws room air for combustion and vents nothing outdoors, the Breckenridge Deluxe delivers its heat directly to the room and can be framed into interior walls, corners, and spaces where running a flue isn't practical. The junction box and standard matte black hood are included, so the box arrives ready to frame in.
Choose the Flush Front for a clean, seamless face or the Louver front for the traditional recirculating-firebox look; either can be ordered with a refractory brick liner already installed. Empire (White Mountain Hearth) offers matching liners, arched doors, louvers, and frame and mantel options to finish the installation.
