The SaunaLife Model EE8G is the showpiece of the Ergo Elegance Series — the most spacious, most visually dramatic outdoor barrel sauna in the entire SaunaLife lineup. With a commanding 91" exterior diameter, a full-width 8mm tempered bronze glass front wall, and an interior that stands 6'7" tall and stretches 79" in length, the EE8G is for those who want a barrel sauna with the presence and comfort of a luxury cabin.
What sets the EE8G apart from every standard ERGO barrel is its extraordinary scale. At 7'7" in exterior diameter, the interior arc is generous enough to allow fully ergonomic bench contouring, a wide arched backrest with true lumbar support, and comfortable standing throughout. Bench surfaces are finished in knot-free Thermo-Aspen that is 50% thicker than in lesser saunas — silky smooth to the touch and thermally ideal for sauna use, so it never becomes uncomfortably hot against the skin. The 8mm tempered bronze glass front wall is the EE8G's most dramatic design feature: it bathes the interior in natural light, creates an expansive visual connection to the outdoors, and transforms the barrel into an architectural statement in your backyard rather than simply a functional structure.
The structural backbone follows ERGO Series standards at their most robust: 1.65" full-length Thermo-Spruce staves deliver exceptional thermal insulation and an outdoor lifespan up to 2× longer than cedar. Heavy-duty stainless steel barrel bands at 1-7/8" wide and 1/8" thick lock the stave assembly under constant tension. A dual floor drain system handles water from both under the heater and near the door, while the black shingle roof kit with drip rails keeps the interior dry in all conditions. All exterior cradles, fascia boards, and the front frame plywood are finished in black for a refined, contemporary look. A Wi-Fi-controlled white LED lightbar is included as standard. Note: a sauna heater is required for operation and is sold separately.
