SaunaLife Model E8W
The SaunaLife Model E8W is the windowed flagship of the ERGO Series — a 6-person outdoor barrel sauna that adds a panoramic half-moon rear window to the full E8 specification, transforming the back wall from a closed stave surface into a sweeping arc of 5/16" tempered bronze glass. The effect inside is striking: natural light floods the sauna from both ends, the rear view opens to whatever landscape sits behind the barrel — garden, trees, water, open sky — and the interior takes on a spaciousness that far exceeds its 87" length. For buyers who want the E8's generous 81" diameter and 6'5" interior height with the added dimension of a rear nature view, the E8W is the answer.
Everything that defines the ERGO Series is present in full: 1.65" full-length Thermo-Spruce staves rated to outlast cedar by up to 2×, knot-free Thermo-Aspen bench tops and backrests at 1.1" thick and 3.5" wide — nearly 50% thicker than standard barrel sauna benching — and heavy-duty stainless steel barrel bands at 1-7/8" wide and 1/8" thick holding the assembly under constant compression. The arched backrest follows the barrel's curve to provide genuine lumbar support rather than a flat board approximation. A black shingle roof kit with side-mounted drip edges manages rainwater at the roofline, while dual floor drains positioned under the heater and near the door handle water accumulation inside. Natural Spruce cradles and fascia boards complete the exterior in a clean, unpainted finish that weathers naturally alongside the Thermo-Spruce staves.
The standard ERGO Wi-Fi LED lightbar system is included: dotless white, IP67-rated, 24V DC, 30-foot cable, 90W supply, expandable to four fixtures. E Sconce+ and E MOOD chromotherapy upgrades are available. DIY assembly is 1-day, 2-person. Heater sold separately — required for operation.
