The SaunaLife Model E8 is the flagship of the ERGO Series — a 6-person outdoor barrel sauna built for those who refuse to compromise on space, comfort, or longevity. Precision-crafted in Northern Europe from sustainably sourced materials, the E8 brings the full Nordic bathing tradition to your backyard at a scale that truly accommodates a group.
Measuring 87" in length with a commanding 81" exterior diameter, the E8's interior stands a full 6'5" tall — enough clearance to walk in upright and move freely. The large barrel arc allows for ergonomically contoured benches and a sweeping arched backrest that delivers genuine lumbar support. Every seating surface is finished in grade-A, knot-free Thermo-Aspen: silky smooth, rich in tone, and remarkably resilient to the repeated heat cycles that degrade inferior woods over time.
Structural integrity starts with industry-leading 1.65" full-length Thermo-Spruce staves that wrap the entire barrel and deliver exceptional thermal resistance. Heavy-duty stainless steel barrel bands at 1-7/8" wide and 1/8" thick hold the assembly with unwavering compression. A dual floor drain system — one positioned under the heater, one near the entry — handles everything from enthusiastic water-tossing to cold plunge runoff. The included black shingle roof kit with side-mounted drip edges keeps the elements out season after season. A Wi-Fi-enabled white LED lightbar is included to set the mood before you even open the door. Note: a sauna heater is required for operation and is sold separately.
