SaunaLife Model GL6
The SaunaLife Model GL6 is the 6-person flagship of the Garden Luxury Series — a premium outdoor sauna cabin that brings contemporary Nordic architecture to the backyard without asking you to compromise on material quality, thermal performance, or finish detail. Its defining design feature is the wrap-around horizontal eaves that extend over a recessed integrated porch on all sides, framing the structure with clean lines and creating a set-back, sheltered entrance that looks purpose-built rather than assembled. Contrasting black exterior trim against the warm 1.57" Thermo-Spruce cladding gives the GL6 its sharp, modern character — more architectural statement than standard garden sauna.
The front wall is a full-height expanse of 0.24" tempered bronze glass, and the side entry door steps up to 0.31" tempered bronze glass with a full-length black door pull — both thicker than the GL4's single front panel, reflecting the GL6's larger interior volume and more substantial structural specification. Inside, 2-tier satin-smooth knot-free thermo-hardwood benches seat up to 6 and follow the body's natural contours for genuine seating comfort across long sessions. The roof assembly uses separate exterior and interior Thermo-Spruce boards, self-adhesive roofing felt, and black metal flashing for a layered, weather-tight system. EPS insulation is integrated into the wall construction — one of the few SaunaLife models to include dedicated insulation, adding meaningfully to thermal efficiency in cold climates. A full ventilation and drainage system is integrated throughout.
Lighting operates on two planes: outside, recessed LED fixtures under the eaves illuminate the porch and approach; inside, indirect white LED runs dimmable from both a Wi-Fi app and a handheld remote, producing a diffuse glow that highlights the grain of the wood without harsh hotspots. All fasteners and construction materials are included for a 2-person, 2-day DIY build. Heater sold separately — required for operation.
