Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL

The Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL is the pinnacle of the Finnmark lineup — a 4-person 
combination sauna that brings together full-spectrum infrared, traditional steam 
heat, and red light therapy in the largest Trinity room available. Everything the 
FD-4 does for two people, the FD-5 does for four, in a room spacious enough to make 
every session feel genuinely communal rather than cramped.

Like all Finnmark Trinity saunas, the FD-5 is the only home sauna in the world to 
combine UL-listed Spectrum Plus short-wave infrared panels with a real traditional 
sauna heater — in this case the Harvia KIP 45B, a 4.5kW wall-mounted Finnish-made 
heater loaded with vulcanite sauna stones. The infrared system delivers 
deep-penetrating warmth through short-wave incoloy heaters, while the Harvia heater 
lets you pour water directly onto the stones for authentic steam — the löyly 
experience that defines Nordic sauna culture. Run them separately or together for a 
session that no single-modality sauna can replicate.

Rounding out the Trinity system is the Spectrum Red Light panel — 192 LED diodes 
producing 650nm red light at therapeutic intensity, adding a light therapy dimension 
alongside every infrared or steam session. The infrared system runs on 240V at 
2.7kW, providing the power needed to heat a 130 cu. ft. room effectively, while the 
Harvia heater handles up to 210 cu. ft. on its own.

The interior is Western Canadian Red Cedar — naturally resistant to mold, bacteria, 
and fungus. The Thermal Plus Aspen exterior will not rot, warp, decay, or chip. 
Controls are managed through Finnmark's LCD touchscreen Controller 2.0 with 
Bluetooth audio and 6" HiFi marine-grade speakers. Low EMF — independently verified 
by a NASA award-winning testing facility. ETL / Intertek certified.
