A misting pump running without water is a pump on its way to failure. This low pressure water shut-off switch automatically cuts power to your high-pressure pump the moment supply pressure drops below the set threshold — protecting the pump from the dry-run damage that occurs when a water source is accidentally turned off, a filter becomes blocked, or supply pressure drops below operating level. When water supply is restored and pressure rebounds, the switch automatically resets and allows the pump to restart without any manual intervention required.

Built on the LF10-WR series platform — a time-tested design used on water well pumps and automatic water systems — this switch uses diaphragm actuation to respond accurately to pressure changes without the wear issues associated with mechanical float or paddle-type switches. Factory set to cut in at 20 PSI with an adjustable differential range of 6 to 20 PSI, the switch can be field-calibrated to match your system's specific operating pressure window anywhere between 20 and 45 PSI. The 1/4" NPS female port threads directly onto standard pump fittings, and the DPST contact configuration handles both 120V and 240V systems at up to 20A (120VAC) or 12A (240VAC).

Rated to UL/CSA standards, burst pressure rated to 300 PSI, and operational across a temperature range of -22°F to 257°F — this switch performs reliably in outdoor misting system environments year-round. An essential protective component for any high-pressure misting system where uninterrupted water supply cannot be guaranteed.
