The K271 is the crankcase oil seal for compatible Aeromist high-pressure misting pump models. It keeps crankcase oil contained and prevents water intrusion into the oil chamber — a failed or worn seal is one of the most common causes of oil leaks and oil contamination in misting pump assemblies. Replacing it at the first sign of oil weeping around the crankcase, or as part of a scheduled overhaul, restores a proper oil-tight seal and significantly extends pump service life.
